Rajouri, December 9 : Rajouri witnessed a major educational milestone today with the grand inauguration of “The Officers’ IAS/JKAS Coaching Institute”, a premier institution dedicated to Civil Services, JKAS, and competitive examination preparation. The ceremony marked the establishment of the first exclusive coaching institute for civil services aspirants in the Pir Panjal region, aimed at empowering students from Rajouri, Poonch, and adjoining border areas.

The institute was formally inaugurated by Prof. Javaid Iqbal, Vice-Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, Prof. Iqbal described the initiative as a transformational step that will usher in academic empowerment and administrative excellence in the border districts. He emphasized that the youth of Rajouri possess exceptional talent, and access to structured, high-quality coaching in their hometown will significantly enhance their performance in competitive examinations. The inauguration program was attended by several eminent academicians and distinguished guests, including Dr. Aasim Mir (Assistant Professor, Management Studies), Dr. Mariya Aslam (Head, Department of English), Mr. Vishal Sharma (Lecturer, COET), Dr. Zakir Hussain Kalis (HoD, English), Prof. Murtaza Ahmed (HoD, Political Science, Government PG College Rajouri), and Mr. Kanav Dadyal, Owner of National Public School. The presence of senior faculty members and educators underlined the academic significance of the occasion.
