On July 6, 2024, we had the privilege of covering the inauguration event for the newly elected leadership of the Baidit Youth Association for Development. The event took place at Gumbo Basic, marking a watershed moment for the community and highlighting the commitment of young leaders to promoting good change and development.

The programme featured motivational talks from notable community members, who emphasised togetherness, empowerment, and the importance of young participation in social and development activities. The new leaders demonstrated their commitment to addressing young concerns and committed to work with a variety of partners to promote growth and opportunity.
