Hello Socratica Friends! We’re here to help you be a great student. And being a great student doesn’t stop when the school day ends. There are some important steps to take to make sure you keep on being a great student when you get home. So ask yourself - do you have a great place to study at home, that keeps you focused?
Today we talk about how to pick an ideal spot to study, and what you need to do your work there. Does it have to be huge? No. Does it have to be fancy? No! All you need is a simple, sturdy table and chair. We’ll discuss what you need to have with you when you study, and what amounts to unnecessary clutter. We’ll take some cues from our hero of organization, Marie Kondo, as well as incorporate design principles and elements to enhance well-being, including Feng Shui. We also remind you of the importance of ergonomics. Are you slumped over in your chair? With a few adjustments, you can be a lot more comfortable and a lot more productive.
We referred to The Pomodoro Technique in this video. Here’s our video about it - it’s really one of our very favourite techniques, and we use it every day, even just in real life. TRY IT.
