Tips for REPOTTING a ROOT-BOUND HOYA — Ep. 253

I ordered a new Hoya obovata and when I took it out of the box, even though it had a beautiful peduncle on it—and looked as if it may bloom, it had a general chlorosis that worried me. As soon as I pulled it out of its nursery pot—I saw what was wrong: It was not only terribly root-bound, but the potting medium had shrunk and it was impossible for the plant to obtain any nutrition, so we're going to try to resolve that here.
