About West Kowloon Cultural District

The West Kowloon Cultural District is a centre for arts and culture, education, entertainment, tourism – and a public space – all rolled into one. Its vision is to become a cultural zone that promotes the collaboration and development of local and international artists.
Major buildings and facilities at the District include performance spaces such as the Xiqu Centre, the Art Park, Freespace, and the Lyric Theatre Complex, and those designed to promote visual culture including M+ and the Hong Kong Palace Museum. Other development projects will include hotel, office, exhibition and residential spaces, as well as retail, dining and entertainment facilities.
