We're Slowly but Surely Getting there. Our Spray dodger has now been customized and installed. That's one step closer to getting the boat in the water. In this episode, we start by setting the spray dodger up on a table and check its condition, except for some stitching that needs to be done and the clear to be replaced it doesn't look too bad. We dry-fit the Companion way cover after having reconditioned it a couple of months ago. Because we lifted the yacht roof the spray dodger didn't fit all that well anymore. It was too high so would interfere with the boom and also too wide so it couldn't be fitted without distorting. So we cut it to make it lower and shallower. That caused the canvas to be a bit loose on some spots so we're going to have to tuck it a bit as well.

We also put the boom in position so we could make sure the dodger doesn't interfere as well as the solar frame we're building.
