I was lucky enough to interview Jess Hill on the 24th of January 2022, and my computer crashed before our interview had time to render. I’d thought I’d lost this valuable interview forever. I cried for an hour, then approached Jess, who was very gracious and said we could do it again. But she was so busy we never had the chance. Then I accidentally found our interview, which is still very relevant. I hope you enjoy hearing what she has to say.

Jess Hill is an investigative journalist who collaborates with people to investigate issues around social justice, domestic violence, energy policy, resources, corruption and human rights. Her book on the phenomenon of domestic abuse, ‘SEE WHAT YOU MADE ME DO’, was awarded the 2020 Stella Prize and has been adapted into a 3-part docuseries for SBS. A new podcast series on coercive control, 'The Trap' - co-produced with Georgina Savage and the Victorian Women's Trust - is launching in August, with a new episode released every week.
