One of my favorite events in Lviv is the annual Craft Beer and Vinyl Music Festival which is put together by the iFest group. Every year dozens of Ukrainian craft breweries bring some of their best or most interesting beers to try out on the general public.

The location of the festival is at iFest headquarters, called Fest Republic, located to the north-east of Lviv city center. There are free shuttle busses or you can take a taxi/electric scooter.

Aside from the beer, the weekend is filled with things to do for people of all ages. From a symposium about brewing coffee, to the taking care and playing of vinyl records. Each day there are different activities and concerts for the festival goers to enjoy.

This year (2021) the festival was from May 14-16 and a general entry ticket was 100 UAH, around $3.50

On the grounds this year there were over 60 different craft beer vendors with hundreds of total options. In this video I show you some of my favorites, like Red Cat's Dublin Milk Stout, or Tsypa Carpathian Brewery's Bourbon Dark British Ale.

Prices for beers at the Lviv Craft Beer Festival vary, but are usually around $2 per 300 ml. This is a little more expensive than normal for Ukraine, but of course there is the convenience of having so many options to choose from.
