I made my own battery management module with a circuit board made by JLCPCB. The module can charge a battery at up to 2.1 amps, boost the voltage to 5V, and indicate the battery level using four LEDs. It also includes battery protection, including temperature monitoring.

My DIY battery charging pcb aims to replace traditional modules from China, like the one using a TP4056 chip. My module is more powerful, has a working USB Type-C connector, and can charge a battery even with a load connected to it.

I designed the PCB for my battery management module in EasyEDA. Then I used JLCPCB's services to make and populate the circuit board.
