INGREDIENTS👨‍🍳
Beef - 1 lb, top sirloin
Onion - 1 large
Salt - 1 tsp
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Garlic - 5 cloves
Habanero pepper - 1
Peanuts - 2 cups
Baking soda - ½ tsp
Bitter leaves - 1 oz, dried
Spinach - 1 lb
Crayfish - ½ cup
Seasoning cube - 1
Vegetable oil - ½ cup
Shrimps - 1 lb



PERSONAL NOTE ✒️
Ndolé is a popular Cameroonian peanut-based stew made of bitter leaves (ndoleh) and complemented with garlic, ginger, crayfish, shrimp, and beef. This is a rich, creamy casserole-like dish, really hearty and comforting. I got the recipe from blogger Precious Meshi Nkeih (@preciouscore) - she has fantastic recipes! We love spinach, so I added some together with the bitter leaves. I could not find fresh bitter leaves at our local grocery. Instead, I used dried bitter leaves - please made sure you wash them thoroughly before blanching to remove any dirt and sand and reduce the bitterness. This dish was fun and delicious - 😋 Highly recommend!
