How to Build Earth-floor with Heating in a DIY Tiny-House

Описание к видео How to Build Earth-floor with Heating in a DIY Tiny-House

Using pure clay, harvested from my birth town Emmen, I experimented with building an earth floor and integrating a water heating system. Never had this been done with a building like mine, and just a few examples came remotely close to what I wanted.

Although the actual work wasn't more than 5 days, the entire process took over two months, mostly due to the drying time between layers. It was a true test of patience and acceptance. For about two weeks, the final layer kept growing cracks, which is expected and all part of the drying process. Continuing to sponge out those cracks and accepting their permanent marks, I wasn't too fond of the result by that point. But it wasn't until soaking it all in oil that the true color revealed itself. I am absolutely in love with the final result!!

"Patience is power.
Patience is not an absence of action;
rather it is "timing"
it waits on the right time to act,
for the right principles
and in the right way.”
