We look at the spec and rotation for a Destruction Warlock, and analyze the testing results via Recount. All testing is done against a raid boss dummy with no buffs besides basic class abilities. Gear is level 333 premade junk.

Destruction is simpler than the other specs, with less cooldowns to manage than Demonology, and less debuffs to worry about than Affliction. Damage is based around fire spells with support from Bane of Doom and Corruption. The Burning Embers talent is surprisingly effective, and makes your imp the must have pet.

The timer mod shown is DoTimer, downloaded from Curse.
