The choices for Dungeon Master resources are endless. You can get lost in a sea of hardback books and content. What if there existed another option? One forgotten in the time capsule of someone's basement. A lost medium that was the newsstand magazine.

I'm talking about Dragon(or Dungeon) Magazine. You may even have some of these lying around your house. Or maybe you know someone who had a subscription and never had the heart to throw them out.

If you can find a stack of these pick them up. They are full of adventures, character classes, and nostalgia!

I use them for adventure ideas and inspiration. Flipping through the pages wondering what it was like to pick this up in the 70's, 80's, & 90's. It takes me back to simpler times and helps get me in the right head space when prepping for a session.
