This video covers the patch 6.0 special assignment Contract: Trouble in the Ancient Forest.

Out for Xbox one / PS4, PC players will get at a later date.

This quest is fairly long and I've tried to condense it as much as possible to give full but concise information. This video includes all the details regarding the side mission quests: The Chief Issue and Pukei-pukei in Peril as well as the main quest.

It is worth completing the side objectives in order to get some elusive rewards including an attack jewel. (When are capcom going to add a quest for mind's eye?! :P )

The game suggests using a sword and shield but if you prefer another weapon type you can change it by speaking with the NPC at the start (or at camps). I would suggest going with something you feel comfortable with, preferably something with a fast sheathing animation to make it easier to use items. The armor is the same for each weapon type (the Geralt set with some attack jewels slotted in).

I have completed the quest several times using different weapons types, each have their own merits. There is going to be a 2nd part to this quest series coming on the 15th Feb which will be a multiplayer Leshen experience with even more new items added including some Dual blades and upgrades to the sword.
