Both movies featured the team's in-universe commercials that were hilariously made, with intentional poor acting, low budget production, and tons of small jokes. I have been trying to find the highest quality version of these commercials online and the best I could find was a 1080p version and still wasn't the sharpest/cleanest version. So I decided to digitally enhance and restore both of them to the sharpest, clearest image possible.

I ran both commercials through Topaz Video AI to upscale the footage to 4K, reduce grain/artifacts (especially the GB1 spot), stabalize camera shake, boost details/sharpness, and interpolate framerate to 60fps.

I then brought them into Adobe After Effects where I color-corrected the shots and boosted the vibrance/colors and did further sharpening of fine details. I then went through the GB1 spot and manually painted out a lot of the prominent film scratches/noises. Some film noise still appears, but much less distracting.

I mainly did all this for my own personal viewing pleasure, but hopefully other Ghostbuster fans out there will also enjoy this!
