The JMGO N1S Ultimate boasts numerous smart features. This semi-portable projector is suitable for streaming and gaming without requiring an external device. However, game consoles or other media devices can still be connected via HDMI. Additional features, like self-cleaning, are less obvious but equally practical.

When a projector remains in one place for an extended period, dust inevitably accumulates on it. Regular maintenance, as with all household devices, is key to keeping it in good working condition. Extra care should be taken with the lens to avoid scratches. To remove dust from the lens, compressed air is the best choice.

Other parts, such as the inside of the projector, are less accessible. Depending on the amount of dust in the environment, considerable dust can also build up inside a projector. This was the case for our colleague Timm Mohn at Disneyland: after just three days, an unusually large amount of dust had settled on and inside the JMGO projector. Upon turning it on, the effect of the dust was immediately noticeable: a circular effect appeared around the projected image. If you notice this phenomenon on your own JMGO projector, it doesn’t mean the device is broken. Instead, the dust removal function should be activated.

To do this, open the settings and navigate to the projector settings. Scroll to the second-to-last option: "One-Click Dust Removal." Clicking this doesn’t open a new context menu. Instead, an internal blower is activated to effectively remove dust from the housing. This process takes about a minute. Afterward, the circular effect disappears. Comparing the projector’s condition before and after dust removal reveals a significant improvement.

It’s recommended to use the automatic dust removal function regularly. This prevents excessive dust buildup inside the device and extends the projector's lifespan. The JMGO N1S Ultimate is currently available on Amazon for €2,499.
