This Modpack Was Balanced With A Sledgehammer || Breaking BigDig

Описание к видео This Modpack Was Balanced With A Sledgehammer || Breaking BigDig

Welcome to BigDig - a paleolithic modpack built on Minecraft 1.5.2 during the dawn of the first modded golden age. In this episode, we crack out some dinosaurs, enter the endgame eight minutes into the video, and invent no less than three entirely new systems of questionable mathematics in the name of beating this game harder than a dust cloth in a dirty dryer.

Until recently, most of my playthroughs have focused on beating games with ridiculous starting conditions and nonsensical limitations. Despite this, I still somehow manage to keep winning. Rather than lean harder into the bit, I decided to go the opposite direction. Enter BigDig, a Minecraft 1.5.2 modpack unique in both the incredible amount of jank that it contains and the incredible amount of experience I have with breaking it.

The rules of this run are simple. There are no rules. Out of personal preference, I will avoid exploiting anything broken in an un-fun way, but if it is possible to do in survival singleplayer, it is fair game. Absent a well-defined victory condition, the run ends when my computer runs out of frame rate, I run out of things to break, or the world file is too corrupted to load, and not a moment sooner.

If you are inclined to try the pack for yourself, BigDig is on all of the usual modpack distribution platforms. Remember to back up your world regularly - the pack is unstable at the best of times.
