A Danish Artist's Home

My mother and I had the loveliest day out at a local artist's home. "Malergården" in the picturesque Odsherred area is the former home of the Swane family, a family of local renowned painters, Sigurd, Agnete and their three children Hannen Henrik and Gerda. All three children went on to become artists as well, and it was Gerda, who donated the home to "the public", and made it part of "Odsherred's Kunstmuseum's" attractions. Built in 1934, the home stands largely untouched today, still with its very unique ambiance and atmosphere. It was a lovely experience to visit, and it won't be my last :-)
