MelodyVision is a full-service video production facility, collaborating with a diverse portfolio of artists and causes. They will play a key role in helping us bring our vision to life and ensure that everything we produce is of the highest professional quality. Not only will MelodyVision support the development of our Albums to Fight Cancer program, but they are also providing access to their recording space and equipment for our concert events and initiatives.

In this video, we take you on a tour of their incredible facility and highlight the amazing tools our charity now has at its disposal. These resources will help us amplify our mission and raise crucial funds for the medical expenses of leukemia patients - using the power of music to make a real difference.

We also sit down with Rodney Whittenberg, an Emmy Award-winning composer and Emmy-nominated film producer. We are proud to announce Rodney is officially joining our mission to use music as a force for healing and hope.

Rodney will be partnering with us on our Albums to Fight Cancer program - an initiative providing financial aid to leukemia patients through music-based projects. But his involvement doesn’t stop there.

Not only will he be acting as our creative consultant for our fundraising concerts, but he also will be helping us get celebrity musicians to perform at our concerts, provide livestream camera equipment via his label to broadcast our events live as we have them, provide open access to his professional recording studio, and help support the overall creative vision of our mission.

Rodney’s impressive resume includes composing music for television, film, modern dance, and theater, as well as co-producing the powerful documentary “Caregivers,” which shed light on the mental health struggles of frontline medical workers. The film helped spark policy changes from OSHA, advancing healthcare worker rights in the United States.

His past direct collaborations with Civil Rights Leaders like John Lewis and Andrew Young underscore a lifetime of purpose-driven creativity, and we’re honored to have him join our cause!

What is Covers to Fight Cancer?
#CoverstoFightCancer was founded in 2024 by our founder P.D. Wylie. After being diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 16, he used his one Make-A-Wish wish from Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley to start this charity, which aims to provide financial aid to other leukemia patients.

Our mission is to harness the universal power of music to bring hope and financial relief to children and teens battling leukemia. Through semi-annual fundraising concerts and our C.A.R.E. Program, we dream of a world where the healing power of music bridges hearts and fuels hope, creating a brighter future where no teen or family of a child with leukemia faces the financial burden of the disease alone.

We strive to foster a global community of compassion and solidarity, where every melody sung and every note played contributes to the well-being and brighter future of those in need. 🧡💛
