Throughout his journey, Clemens shows great courage and never gives up. His final escape shows his strong will to survive, as he travels through different places and meets both enemies and helpers. Finally, after a long and dangerous journey, Clemens makes it back to Germany, where he has a touching reunion with his wife and daughter, ending his long and tough journey.
