Not sure what paper to choose for your printed Planners or Journals? Here's a quick guide!

Type of Paper: All planners and journals use "uncoated" paper, also known as "offset paper", measured at a specific paper weight. Paper weight refers to the thickness and sturdiness of paper, which is measured in either pounds (lb) or grams per square meter (gsm). The higher the value, the thicker and more durable the paper.

50lb (80gsm) Paper: 50lb paper is relatively thin and lightweight. It is often used for journals where cost-effectiveness is a priority. As a reference, 50lb paper is most often used in pamphlets.

65lb (100gsm) Paper: 65lb paper is slightly thicker than 50lb, offering a bit more opacity from bleeding. 65lb paper is a good middle-ground option, providing a balance between cost and quality. It's our most popular journal and planner paper weight.

80lb (120gsm) Paper: 80lb paper is thicker and has a weight-ier feel. 80lb paper is commonly chosen for higher-quality journals as it offers better opacity (less bleed) and can handle more wear and tear.

Your choice of paper weight really depends on your specific needs. As a recap…
50lb: Most cost-effective
65lb: Best value for quality
80lb: Durable and higher quality
