Springfield, Illinois - Abraham Lincoln's Hometown Sights

A tour of Springfield, Illinois - hometown of President Abraham Lincoln. While this video doesn't include the primary Lincoln sites, like the Home, Tomb or Presidential Museum, it includes lesser-known and off-the-beaten path sites. These include the Lincoln Depot, the Dana-Thomas House, Edwards Place, Camp Butler National Cemetery, the Funeral Train Marker, and the Thomas Rees Memorial Carillon. I also took an excursion to a nearby town called Taylorville, which has a statue of Abraham Lincoln with a Pig, a JFK Statue in a Cemetery, and the Grave of Kay the Circus Elephant.
