Climbing Mt Hood - Leuthold Couloir Route

This video documents the mid January 2022 conditions of the Leuthold Couloir climbing route. We head up Palmer's glacier from Timberline Lodge and continue diagonally across to Illumination Saddle before descending into the Reid Glacier. After crossing below the Reid Headwall, we ascend the Leuthold Couloir to the summit ridge. In this case, we descended the Old Chute route.
