In this episode of On the Soul’s Terms, I’m joined once again by mentor, astrologer, and long-time friend Brian Clark for a slow, reflective journey through the first six houses of the astrological chart.


Rather than treating the houses as categories to memorise, we approach them as inner dwellings—places of memory, emotion, ancestral inheritance, and lived experience. From the Fool’s first step in the 1st house, through embodiment in the 2nd, early relationships in the 3rd, the deep dreaming of the 4th, the creative risks of the 5th, and the quiet rituals of the 6th—this is a conversation about how we come to inhabit our lives.


Along the way, we touch on dreams of home, shame in the body, sibling constellations, Hillman’s vision of soul in place, and the beauty that arrests us into presence.


This is the first of a two-part series. Brian will return in September for the second half of the wheel, where we’ll explore the 7th through 12th houses.
