Attitash - Saco to Tightrope to Spillway

Описание к видео Attitash - Saco to Tightrope to Spillway

Saco (intermediate) to Tightrope to Spillway (advanced) is a ski run of varying difficulties located on Attitash Peak at Attitash Mountain Resort. The trails run from the summit of Attitash Peak down to the Attitash Base Area. The run starts out as Upper Saco, an intermediate trail that begins off to the left when coming off of the Summit Triple chairlift. The trail runs straight and mellow. Tightrope, an advanced trail, is the second trail that exits off to the skier's left off Saco. Tightrope is a narrow trail and, after crossing under the Summit Triple chairlift, has a few short steep sections. Near the end of the trail, you can either choose to take a right toward Middle Ptarmigan or White Horse or continue straight onto Spillway (which I did). Spillway is also an advanced trail. Spillway starts off with a short steep section but then runs pretty straight and mellow the rest of the way down to the Attitash Base Area.

Attitash Mountain Resort is a ski area located in Bartlett, New Hampshire, which is located in the Mount Washington Valley Region of the state. The Valley is also home to the towns of Jackson and Conway and is also home to many other ski areas. Attitash is comprised of two peaks, Attitash Peak and Bear Peak. Attitash Peak is home to many classic, narrow, and fun New England-style ski trails, while Bear Peak is home to most of the resort's wide-open groomers and terrain parks. The ski area is also home to a hotel (the Grand Summit), a mountain coaster, and a lot of summer attractions such as an alpine slide, zip-lines, and some waterslides. In the summer of 2019, the ski resort was purchased by Vail Resorts from Peak Resorts, meaning the ski area is now a destination on the Epic Pass.
