Hello everyone and welcome back to our channel! On today's Itwinerary we'll walk around the neighborhood of Shockoe Bottom near Downtown Richmond. This area is home to gorgeous historic brick buildings and cobblestone roads, as well as new condos in converted warehouses and plenty shops. It is also home to the oldest building left standing in Richmond which is the little stone house of the Edgar Allen Poe Museum. It's a hot one, but lets walk!

It’s where George Washington envisioned a national system of transportation canals and Thomas Jefferson signed the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom.
