Siamese Cancer (2003-2007)

Siamese Cancer was formed in the end of the November 2002.

The band played death metal, and the first line-up was,

Sandro Silva,Drums , Alexandre Jardim, guitar, Guilherme Abreu, guitar, and Roberto Medeiros, Bass.

( Alexandre Jardim, was the singer of Drawned In Tears, and he recorded a demo with them called Abstract Melancholy in 1995.)

(Guilherme Abreu, guitarist of Utopia, Altar Of Pain, Hideous Evocation, Rotten Coffin)

Roberto Medeiros gave the idea for the name of the project: SIAMESE CANCER.

In 2003, Alexandre Jardim left the band, and a home-video rehearsal was made with the remaining members.

In 2004, Jonas Anjo joined the band, as lead guitarist.

Elder Abreu (Utopia, Altar of Pain) joined soon after, as vocals and lyricist, and finally Carlos Pestana joined with bass duties.

Together this line-up recorded a demo in rehearsal in 2005.

The logo for Siamese Cancer was designed by Catarina Silva.

The cover art for the demo, designed by Luke Felgueira (Guitarist of ThirdSphere).

In 2006, Jonas Anjo left the band, and was replaced by Zé rodrigues (Altar of Pain, Raiva!!!, Rotten Coffin).

Siamese Cancer´s live debut was at Rock´s club Madeira island-Portugal, in March 2006, opening for two local bands, Requiem Laus and Karnak Seti.

The event was organized by PromoRock.(Promorock was an association from Madeira Island to promote local bands.)

In September 2006, Siamese Cancer recorded another rehearsal album, with seven songs, and one cover from the band, Death.

The song was The philosopher.

We called the album/recording Cancerous Thoughts.

The cover art and Artwork was designed by Elder Abreu.

All lyrics and vocals by Elder Abreu.

In 2007, Guilherme Abreu and Zé Rodrigues later on too, left the band, and together during 2009, formed Altar Of Pain.

They recorded some old songs from Siamese Cancer that were unfinished and never properly recorded.

Those songs are : Death by Exsanguination,Fatal Disease,Infected, this songs are on the Altar Of Pain Ep "Severe Scourge".

Sandro Silva always continued with Siamese Cancer, with Alexandre Jardim back on lead guitar, (who had already been in the band in 2003),

Mauricio Garanito on rythm guitar, and Danny Saldanha on vocals and lyrics.(Danny was the singer of Hideous Evocation and he sing in a concert of Altar Of Pain in 2010).

They recorded a promo cd in 2009, with three songs.

The artwork was made by Blackart Designs.

In 2017, they gave a concert in Camacha at the event "Alive at the Moon Festival".

The line-up was Sandro Silva on drums, Mauricio Garanito on guitar, Diomar Rocha on vocals and Lourenço Baptista on bass.
