Enforcement of a Judgement (Ontario, Canada)

Описание к видео Enforcement of a Judgement (Ontario, Canada)

So you won at a trial. The judge sends you the decision with the reasons. What happens next? The court in Ontario Canada does not provide the service to enforce judgements for the winning litigants in civil lawsuits. Lawyer Heather Douglas explains to us what the next steps are in civil litigation in Ontario. Litigants (or their lawyers) have to draft the "order", which is circulated to the other parties to approve the order, submit it to the court to be "entered" into the system, before they can enforce the judgement.
