Kirschbaum Orange (Super Smash) Tennis String Review and Rating.

In this video, I review Kirschbaum Orange (Super Smash), a long-standing favorite in the tennis market. The review revisits this string to establish a benchmark against newer poly blends. The Super Smash excels in control, earning an excellent rating, which is typical for high-quality polyester strings. It has very good spin potential, although not as high as some other strings like the Solinco Hyper-G. Its snapback is also commendable, though slightly less consistent than some competitors.

Power isn't a significant factor for polyester strings, and Super Smash is no exception, with typical power levels for its type. Durability is a strong suit, lasting around 7 hours, which is high for polyester. The feel of the string is described as soft and lively, providing a plush, responsive experience without being too harsh or crisp. This balance makes it a versatile choice for many players, especially those in the 3.5 to 5.0 rating range.

While the string's orange color might not be to everyone's liking, its playability and budget-friendly nature outweigh this minor aesthetic concern. The only downside is a tendency to become mushy with prolonged use, similar to other poly strings. Overall, Super Smash is highly recommended for its excellent all-around performance.
