This advanced communications setup provides secure, multi-level classified internet access in harsh and demanding environments, ensuring reliable connectivity for modern military operations. Freezing Winds 2025 focuses on strengthening interoperability between U.S. Marines, Finnish forces, and NATO allies through combined amphibious operations in and around the Baltic Sea region.

The exercise highlights the U.S. Marine Corps’ ability to rapidly deploy, sustain, and operate alongside allied forces in Northern Europe in support of NATO collective defense.
