Hello and welcome to this session on details of the Learning Management System for online recorded classes and study resources to prepare for your ACCA exams.
These Online classes are Platinum approved by ACCA and are of high standards which helps ACCA students to pass their exam by self-paced learning.
Normally when we think of Online recorded classes, we only talk about the video content for the course that is available. The video contents alone are never sufficient to pass ACCA Exams. So, a quality learning for ACCA includes much more than Videos only.
This Learning Management system will help students to prepare for ACCA exams including knowledge, application of knowledge, Revision and finally the mock exams.
This is the Learning Management platform you will be redirected when you log in. I have taken Applied Skills level paper Audit and Assurance as an example for this video.
The platform starts with an introduction to the paper and detailed study planner with traffic light system to prepare for each chapter. Red for harder topics, amber for relatively easier and green for easy chapters.
You will also have access to the course notes, Question Banks, study text and updates on the ACCA course materials from last exam session.
Then there will be course videos on each topic from a chapter. The course videos are divided into various small segments so that it is easier for students to grasp the concept.
After you are done with your video content for each chapter, there will be both types of questions, Objective questions and case study questions for you to practice on the platform itself.
Also, throughout your course, you will see a series of checkpoints. The purpose of a checkpoint is to: Provide some new question practice on the areas covered in your course so far. This will help you further consolidate your knowledge and identify strengths and weaknesses.
After you are done with the course videos, question practice and further questions practice using checkpoints, you will move to revision planner on this right side of the screen. This Revision planner below breaks your revision into different sessions and focuses on the important area of the syllabus including questions practice.
You will also have debriefed videos for the for all the case study questions. These debrief videos will help students on how to answer questions that are likely to be asked in the exam. The debrief videos will also consolidate all your knowledge you have gained using the course videos earlier.
You will also be provided links to the relevant study materials from ACCA.
Lastly, you will be provided with three mock exams on the platform itself which mirrors the ACCA’s CBE platform. The mock exams help students prepare for the final exam and helps you familiarise with the CBE platform that you will be expected to use in the exam.
All mock exams will be followed by debrief videos for the questions that has been asked in the mock exams. These debrief videos help you on answering the questions asked in the exam together with likely mistakes and how to avoid those mistakes.
In the end of the course, you will also be provided with a Closing Remark from the Tutor.
