MOAM is back with a bang as Dusty Hanshaw kicks off Season 8 by flipping the script on Ron Partlow in this epic host takeover and return to MUTANT's home gym, West Coast Iron in Port Coquitlam Canada.🍁

The gym's welcoming atmosphere and supportive community of lifters has developed around the gym's owners, Ron Partlow, Cory Knox, and Stephen Didoshak. The owners are highly involved in the day-to-day ops (and reps) and are dedicated to providing a gym experience that caters to the training needs of its patrons.

Dusty digs into Ron's community heavy gym philosophy. Aside from kickass tunes🎸and a dedication to carry a vast range of machines from the old-school to the cutting edge, Ron insists on placing the needs of gym-goers above all else. He'll consider how members use certain types of equipment in their workout patterns/habits before changing ANY machines or layout. And man, this policy SHOWS in WCI's member activity!

Where most fitness clubs have an active membership of only 20%, WCI members come an average of 4-5 times per week! 😲💪🏿

From a floorplan that is built with intention for the people, to racks upon racks of iron, tanning beds, custom MUTANT paint scheme and a shake bar stocked with a wall of MUTANT supps, WCI is a bodybuilder's paradise. Dusty's especially hungry eyes 👀 for a vintage Nautilus Super Pullover machine that's been around for over 50 years - and is apparently strong enough to survive the apocalypse!🤣💥 When your machine's got a seatbelt you know it's time to buckle up for a brutal session!!

Dusty finishes the episode by taking Ron through a grueling back workout with pulldowns, rows and a go on the oldschool Nautilus machine. We love Dusty's main way of remembering how much weight to use - "just use it all".😅 He's also got an interesting take on what it means to "get the plates off!"
