How to sell tickets to live streaming events through your website

In this video walk-through, we’ll show you two ways to sell tickets to your live stream events. All ticket sales are commission-free, and you can send the link automatically to your customer.

Option 1: Sell tickets and send a link of your livestream to the attendees

Click Edit Content from your Bandzoogle dashboard.
Click on Add Feature from the left sidebar, and then select Calendar.
Add your calendar feature to your site.
Click Add Event.
Enter all of the information about your livestream show: the date and time you’ll be playing, and a description of the show
Choose ‘Sell tickets through my website.’
Add the price for a ticket
In the live stream link field, put in the URL of stream (your meeting ID from Zoom, for example)

When your fans buy a ticket to your live stream show, they’ll get an email with the live stream link, so they can easily join in when it starts.

Option 2: Sell tickets and host your live stream directly on your website behind a password-protected page

Click Edit Content from your Bandzoogle dashboard.
Add a new page: In the Access Restrictions section, choose the “Anyone with a password” option and then create your password.
Edit an existing page: click the pencil icon next to the page name to get to the screen where you can add a password.
To embed your live stream: click on Add Feature once you’re on the page you’re going to use for the stream.
Choose the HTML Code option and place it on your page.
Head to a streaming service like Crowdcast. Set up your live stream, then click on Share to get your embed code.
Copy this code, then head back to your Bandzoogle page to paste the code in the HTML feature.
Head to your Calendar feature, so your fans can buy tickets to your show.
Click Add a new event
Choose ‘Sell tickets through my website’
Add the price for a ticket
In the live stream link field, put in the URL of your password-protected page
In the live stream info field, enter the password.

When your fans buy a ticket, they’ll get an email with a link to your website page where you’re hosting the stream, and they’ll get the password too.
