Historic House Visit (Inside A 200 Year Old House!)

The Hoyle Historic Homestead is located in Dallas, NC. This 200+ year old home is the oldest known house in NC to feature Germanic construction elements and we were lucky enough to be toured through the home by Marty Gimson who was on site with UNC students to conduct some archeological digs to learn more about the site, which we will see up close and in person in a future video!

Hometown Chronicles USA visits small towns, historic sites, and other places of interest across the country. Through our travels we meet tons of people who, together, weave the fabric of this country. Whether we're on an archaeological dig or just walking the streets of a small town, we love getting to learn more about our towns and the people in them!

If you love history, travel, art, and just learning more about the communities that make the USA a great place to live, be sure to SUBSCRIBE to our channel as well as LIKE and LEAVE A COMMENT on this video! Let us know where you'd like us to travel to next!!!
