Found an Ibex Family After a Tough Hike on Säntis!

After years of searching and not knowing where to look, we finally achieved our goal. We have found an ibex family after a long hike on Säntis! This time, after 19km of hiking through the steep and hot terrain of Säntis in Appenzell, Switzerland, our persistence paid off. Just when we were about to give up, we were rewarded with an incredible encounter-a whole family of ibexes, right in front of us.

Our day started before dawn, fueled by the determination to find at least one ibex. The journey was anything but easy, with steep ascents, rocky trails, and the blazing midday sun pushing us to our limits. But the challenges we faced were worth it, as we finally came face-to-face with these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.
