Baby-Faced James Corden at History Boys Royal Premiere (2006)

On 2 October 2006, a fresh-faced James Corden joined legendary playwright Alan Bennett and The History Boys co-stars Dominic Cooper and Andrew Knott on the red carpet in London's Leicester Square. The four were attending the premiere of the big screen adaptation of The History Boys at that year's Royal Film Performance. The cast spoke about the fun they had over the two and a half years of touring the play on the West End and Broadway, Corden likening the experience to reliving his school days.

Just 28 at the time of the History Boys premiere, Corden would achieve national fame the following year with his hit series Gavin and Stacey, which he wrote with co-star Ruth Jones. Fast forward to April 2023, and Corden has conquered America. The final episode of his hit late-night talk show, the Late Late Show with James Corden, aired on 27 April after a run of eight years. Known for star-studded segments such as Carpool Karaoke, the show ended with Corden hosting pop superstar Harry Styles and comedic titan Will Ferrell.
