يدافع د. عبدالكريم عن رؤيته الخاصة عن أن اليمن ليس بلداً فقيراً ويقدم في سبيل دعم تلك الرؤية أمثلة ونماذج من خلال العمل على الموارد الطبيعية التي تزخر بها اليمن التي يمكن أن تغير واقعها على المدى الطويل كما يقرع جرس الخطر حيال التعامل الغير مسئول مع تلك الموارد

Dr. AbdulKareem defends his personal image of Yemen as a not-so-poor country. he provides examples and models through his extensive work on natural resources in Yemen. He claims such resources may alter the face of Yemen in the long run. He also warns against the irresponsible handling of these resources.
