👉Tips:
-Any answer is correct—even if it’s not mathematical! Let your child share freely before nudging their thinking.

-You can ask:
What shapes do you see?

How many cubes are in each group?
How many cubes are there total?

Challenge for older kids:
-Can you connect what you see to an operation? How could you use addition, multiplication, division, or subtraction to describe this picture?
-If you had to share the cubes equally with a friend, how many would you each get? What about with 3 friends? Or 2 friends?
