Pictures of 2 men offering Namaz in a temple in Mathura went viral on social media on Monday 2 November. Temple priest Kanha Goswami filed a case against four people for inciting religious sentiments. After the Namaz was offered, Ganga water was sprinkled for the purification of the temple. A havan was also conducted. Faizal Khan, the person who offered the Namaz in the temple, claims that he had done this only after being instructed by the priest of the temple. The UP Police booked the accused in the matter from Delhi's Jamia Nagar.
