Apollo's Kleinman on Intel Deal: Firms Face Unprecedented Levels of CapEx

Scott Kleinman, co-president at Apollo, says private capital is going to play an increasing role as more and more firms face capital expenditure issues. He made the comments after Intel agreed to sell Apollo a stake in a venture that controls a plant in Ireland for $11 billion, helping bring in more external funding for a massive expansion of its factory network. "Companies all over the world are facing unprecedented levels of CapEx. Digitization, globalization, energy transition. And they're starting to think more creatively about how are they going to fund this," Kleinman told Bloomberg's Dani Burger on the sidelines of the SuperReturn private equity event in Berlin.
