India has strongly rebutted the Pakistani Prime Minister's statements at the United Nations General Assembly. In its right of reply, India termed the address "absurd theatrics" and accused Pakistan of glorifying terrorism. An Indian diplomat delivered the statement, saying, "this assembly witnessed absurd theatrics in the morning from the Prime Minister of Pakistan who once again glorified terrorism that is so central to their foreign policy." The response highlighted that on April 25, 2025, at the UN Security Council, Pakistan shielded The Resistance Front (TRF), a terror outfit responsible for the massacre of tourists in Jammu and Kashmir. India asserted that no amount of drama or lies could conceal the facts, pointing to acknowledgements by Pakistani ministers of operating terrorist camps for decades.
