Is Tondo 'The Next Hong Kong'? The New Image of Tondo Manila From Slums to Skyscrapers 🇵🇭

When we hear of Tondo, the first thing that comes to our mind is poverty. However, Tondo is not all about crime slum and povery, in fact, it is now the new center of development in Manila. Towering skycrapers and new developments are rising in every corner of Tondo. Investments seems to be pouring into Manila's once-neglected neighborhood. If investments continue to increase over the next 15 years, Tondo could become 'The Next Hong Kong'.

Other parts of Manila have also seen a dramatic increase in investments and construction activities such as the popular districts of Ermita, Binondo, and Malate.
