Anyone who’s ever attended a Heifetz concert knows what a dynamic, visceral connection they create between performer and audience. This summer, while we won’t be able to fill Francis Auditorium with music, the energy, excitement, and passion of a Heifetz concert will be just a click away on your phone, tablet, computer, or even your big-screen TV!

From June to August (and possibly beyond!) Rubato will feature a full slate of mesmerizing music-making, including brand-new performances by our #Heifetz2020 Virtual Institute students, produced through a sophisticated collaborative multi-track recording process developed by our production and artistic staff. You’ll also get the chance to view highlights from recent Heifetz summers here in the Shenandoah Valley (including our Heifetz Hootenannies, Celebrity Series, and Stars of Tomorrow concerts), as well as never-before-seen archival footage from the Heifetz stage stretching back over two decades. We’ll also have artist interviews and commentary, plus special “watch parties” where you will get to interact with students, alums, faculty, and special guests as the concerts unfold.
