Boise Peak Experience: Lucky Peak/Shaw Mountain Hike In 4K!

The Grand Slam Peaks are Cervidae, Kepros Mountain, Shaw Mountain/Lucky Peak, and Mount Heinen.

I've completed 2 of the 4 so far, Cervidae (several times) and now (officially) Lucky Peak. Yesterday, I just wanted to make it official on this one and go all the way to the top. Picked quite a hot, sunny and smoky air to do it on, Labor Day 2024, and I walked 4 miles in the morning beforehand and did 150 pushups. Trying to get back in decent shape and these big hikes sure do help burn calories.

I brought some organic dates with me and had maybe about 100 ozs of water.

It was 10.75 mi total with 2,946 ft Elevation gain. It was a great workout and I took my time with it.
