These days it is very important to boost our immune system as much as we can. This golden turmeric milk (haldi milk) is easy, soothing, calming and delicious. It is also very good for you as it is loaded with turmeric and ginger.

Turmeric is known for its health properties. It is an anti-inflammatory, anti-carcinogen, antioxidant and antibacterial. I consume turmeric everyday in my coffee and enjoy this golden milk at least twice a week to boost my immune system.

Make sure to add the pinch of black pepper to your recipe as it will help your body absorb the turmeric.

This is how to make turmeric milk recipe for better immune system -

Serves one

1 1/4 cups (300 ml) milk — any kind you like
1/4 teaspoon (0.44 grams) ground ginger
3/4 teaspoon (3.7 grams) ground turmeric
Pinch black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons (7 grams) coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon (7 grams) honey or sweetener of choice (optional)

Place all ingredients in a small pot.

Heat, stirring until everything is incorporated.

Remove from heat when it just starts simmering.

Serve and enjoy.
