The SiouxperCon Film Festival are pleased that actor Ron Sloan has agreed to appear at SiouxperCon Retromania.

Ron’s latest acting credit is a starring role with Dee Wallace in 13 Fanboy! Released in Theaters and Streaming as of October 22, 2021.

Ron was discovered in 1876 on the Steve Allen show. Following that break Ron’s acting career opened up and he landed a series of television commercials for Skippy Peanut butter, Olympia Beer, Buick, Kay Jewelers and many others.

From sitcoms to soap operas Ron became a working actor with small parts on TV shows like All in the Family, Three’s Company, Facts of Life, and Love American Style. His big break came in 1985 with the very popular horror franchise Friday the 13th where he played Junior Hubbard, in Friday the 13th part five.

This began Ron’s year of death. He was actually killed on the TV series Tales from the Darkside, and then the movie Banzai Runner with Dean Stockwell. He followed that with the role as the stocking killer on soap opera Santa Barbara.

Ron currently appears at horror film conventions all over the country. Ron will be available throughout the convention on the floor and in the movie room for panels.
