F^3 Half Marathon Review:
Billed as Chicago's original winter half marathon. The f3 Half Marathon on the Chicago lake front, was not something I had on my list this year. I am not a cold weather runner....

After waiting until the Sunday before to make sure the weather would not be too cold.... you never know with Chicago in January.... We signed up.

The views were outstanding, along the lake front, solider field the skyline, lake, and snow.

We were able to park indoors, walk 100 yards right into the heated United club, check in was inside. We then waiting until they started calling for runners. We walked outside about 15 feet from the door into the corals, and maybe 5 minutes later, we started.

The energy was upbeat and the majority of runners were not joking around. I guess many people don't pick this race to be their first half marathon. I wonder why? ❄

The entry fee was really reasonable; especially considering you get a hoodie, decent medal, and free photos.

Everything was so well organized; pre-event info, getting there, parking, registration and course markings.
