Te-Hina Paopao: The Most Accurate Shooter in College Basketball

Te-Hina Paopao is putting together an all around excellent season, her first in Columbia with the South Carolina Gamecocks. Her efficiency is staggering, shooting over 50% from deep on nearly 5 attempts per game, comfortable off the catch, off screens, pulling up, and dancing into her shots in isolation or from operating a ball screen.

Per Her Hoop Stats, only 2 players in the country this season have played greater than 10 games while shooting above 50% from deep on 4 or more attempts per game; Paopao and Hannah Kohn (Chattanooga).

When sorting for the entire Her Hoop Stats database (back to the 2009-10 season), this has only happened 3 times. A remarkable season from Paopao thus far, one of the best 3-point shooting campaigns we've seen with respect to volume and accuracy.
