Picking Up Trash After Typhoon in TAIWAN| Out with my New MAMMUT Trion 15L Rolltop Backpack 老外撿垃圾

I have been wanting to do this video for a while. It is not that I desire any praise for this action which is something that everyone should be doing. Putting purpose behind my local excursions makes them more interesting and meaningful. Seeing elderly parents and in-laws struggle with mobility has caused me to cherish the time I can remain active and contribute to society.

There were three purposes to this local excursion and video: One was to test out my new Mammut Trion 15L vest/backpack. Secondly, I wanted to purchase a pair of long tongs for trash collection. Lastly, I had been cooped up in my house for two days (the Gov. canceled work & school) with the latest typhoon and wanted to go out and assess the local damage.

It turned out to be quite rewarding! One gentleman even began to help me pick up trash on a side alley near our park. Another walker gave me the thumbs up! I ended up with an entire trash bag full of cans, plastic bottles, a lighter, a razor, masks, plastic bags, and lots of other plastic bits. Back at home, I recycled what I could and discarded the rest properly.
