Its an excellent destination close to Pune and suitable for a day trip, especially during the monsoons. And yes, you can take family and kids to enjoy the spectacular views and surroundings.

Road: Follow google map. Mobile signal after Velhe is intermittent, so download the map. The road from Velhe to Madhe is mostly rough but motorable. The views on the both sides of the road is amazing and will not allow to feel the adversaries of rough ride. Parking is available at the entrance. Vehicles are not allowed till the end and visitors need to walk for 15-20 mins to reach the view point.

To view the waterfall, there are two view points towards the right of the stream. There are no safety railings, so be careful while enjoying. And most importantly Do not litter and spoil the place.
